The events in Iraq are in the headlines daily,
though few know the inside story. Iraq: Providing Hope is a
collection of personal accounts from the actual
people there in Iraq. These unique portrayals
describe what life is like from the troops,
government employees, aid workers, and American
heroes who support them.
Here are personal
stories from over 50 people actively involved in
freeing and rebuilding Iraq. Now is your chance to
discover the full story that never quite makes it

About the
Authors
There are fifty-four who have
contributed stories to this project. Each has a
distinct perspective. There are forty-two males
and twelve females. There are thirty-three
military and twenty-one civilians. Eight served
with the CPA. Five are Iraqis. There are three
medical doctors, two from Corps of Engineers, and
one rabbi.
There is no other book on Iraq
with such a diversity of backgrounds and

Good News
This is a story about good news and
a story that needs to be heard.
Iraq:
Providing Hope started in June 2004, when
someone noticed that of the 4,000 photos released
by the Associated Press in April only one showed
our country in a positive light. How could this
be?
It didn’t take long to find several
positive, human interest stories that revealed a
spirit of America of which we can be
proud.
What motivates the soldiers? Who are
all these people starting charities? Why are so
many civilians volunteering to go to a combat zone
and rebuild a country? Through the stories of
these people, there is one overriding theme.
American is doing great things and the people
involved are proud of their accomplishments. We
are winning in Iraq.
Everywhere people are
wanting to learn more about this project. The
author has been on radio
programs across the country crusading for
those Americans who have given so much. Recently
Kimberly Hassell has provided her song, "I
Believe" to the cause and this now is available as
a download.

Providing
Hope
Our soldiers, sailors, airmen and
marines have been bravely combating danger, living
in miserable conditions and doing a great job. The
bottom line is that we, as a nation, have freed
twenty-five million people from a murderous
dictator and have embarked on a plan to provide
them a new beginning with a new constitution that
protects human rights and provides hope.
